What is my role within the Link Crew?

Student Roles:

Link Crew Leaders - roughly 100 juniors and seniors who are trained to be leaders to a small group of freshmen

Link Crew Commissioners - six juniors and seniors that prepare and coordinate all Link Crew activities, including Freshman Orientation.

Administrative Team - two sophomores who help organize Link Crew activities, and who serve as assistants to the commissioners and directors.

How do I become a Link Crew Member?

First, you must be willing to commit for the duration of the entire school year, and you must be a junior or senior during the 2014-2015 school year.  Incoming sophomores interested in being a part of the Admin. Team can also apply.

Second, you must complete an application and submit this no later than Friday, May 2nd.  This includes a succinct but detailed statement as to why you would like to be a Link Leader and how you would contribute to the team.  We are also asking applicants to have TWO teachers complete the teacher evaluation form (please get this form to your teachers as soon as possible).  Your application will not be considered complete unless your application and both evaluations are turned in ON TIME.

Juniors or seniors who want to apply for the position of Link Crew Commissioner should indicate their interest on the application.  If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Sykes.

Are you ready to be a part of the Crew?

If you have these qualities that we are looking for in our Link Crew Leaders:

1. Availability

2. Collaborativeness

3. Commitment

4. Creativity

5. Enthusiasm

6. Friendliness

7. Problem solving
